Chemical mechanical pulp is a clean and efficient pulping technology developed on the basis of traditional mechanical pulp. The chemical mechanical pulp production line has developed rapidly since it was put into operation in the 1970s. The chemical pulp has the advantages of high yield, low cost, high thickness, opacity and good stiffness. At the same time, the larger surface area and the higher fine fiber content of these unique properties make chemical pulp more and more widely used in paper mills.
Chemical mechanical pulp was initially developed by sulfite treatment chemical thermal grinding mechanical pulp (CTMP or BCTMP), alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) was developed on the basis of BCTMP from the late 1980s to the early 1990s, and the traditional APMP pulping process was improved and developed in the 1990s PRC-APMP.
Because the characteristics of the chemical pulp can be easily adjusted by adjusting the process conditions of the chemical pretreatment and bleaching section, it is more convenient for the production of a variety of paper types, such as printing paper, multilayer board, tissue paper and other specialty papers.
