Coarse Screen Up-flow Pressure Screen

"Up-flow pressure screen (Coarse screen)" is an important equipment used for pulp screening and purification. Its main function is to remove larger-sized impurities and unqualified fibers from the pulp, conduct preliminary screening and purification of the pulp, and provide relatively pure pulp raw materials for the subsequent fine processing procedures.

Used for coarse screening of waste paper stock.

1.Up-flow Design

The pulp enters from the inlet at the bottom of the screen body and flows upward along the inner wall of the screen drum under pressure.

This up-flow method increases the contact time and area between the pulp and the screen mesh, improving the screening effect.

2.Screening Mechanism

The surface of the screen drum is equipped with a screen mesh of specific pore size, allowing the pulp that meets the size requirements to pass through and intercepting larger impurities and fibers.

The intercepted impurities are pushed upward by the pressure and water flow and are discharged through the reject outlet.

3.Pressure Control

The equipment is equipped with a pressure regulation system to ensure that the pulp flows under the appropriate pressure for efficient screening.

1.Inlet System: Includes the inlet pipeline and the inlet, which are responsible for introducing the pulp to be screened into the screen body.

2.Screen Drum: Usually made of high-strength materials and has a coarse screen mesh on the surface.

3.Screen Mesh:Has larger pores and is used to screen out larger impurities and fibers.

4.Outlet for Good Pulp: Located at the upper part of the screen body and discharges the pulp that has undergone coarse screening.

5.Reject Outlet: Used to discharge the intercepted impurities and unqualified fibers.

6.Pressure Regulation System: Composed of pressure sensors, controllers, and regulating valves, etc., to control the internal pressure of the equipment.

1.Operation Key Points

Before starting the machine, check the sealing of the equipment, the pressure system, and the condition of the screen mesh.

Set the appropriate inlet pressure and flow rate according to the characteristics of the pulp.

During operation, closely observe the pressure, flow rate, and the quality of the outlet pulp.

2.Maintenance Work

Regularly clean the inlet and the reject outlet to prevent clogging.

Check the wear and damage of the screen mesh and replace it in time.

Regularly calibrate and maintain the pressure regulation system.

Lubricate the moving parts of the equipment to ensure normal operation.
